Logiwiz Wins SLSI Merit Award for business excellence

Logiwiz, the leading 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) service provider in Sri Lanka, was recognized for business excellence at the Sri Lanka Standards Institution’s (SLSI) National Quality Awards ceremony held at the BMICH recently. Logiwiz was awarded with the Merit Certification in the Medium Sector Service category.

The award represents the culmination of Logiwiz’s increased focus in conforming to international quality standards. In 2009, Logiwiz received the ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications. Subsequently, in the same year Logiwiz received the Gold Award under the Transport and Logistics Category at the National Business Excellence Awards hosted by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.

“Securing this award at a renowned forum such as the Sri Lanka National Quality Awards is testament to the innovation and commitment Logiwiz has consistently displayed towards uplifting the standards of the 3PL industry. This highly prestigious accolade is bestowed upon organizations that have earned high scores according to the Malcom Balridge assessment criteria, which is the benchmark used to assess the performance excellence of high performing international companies. Including metrics such as best practices aligned to process excellence, efficiency of technology deployment, partnering culture with clients, and the knowledge and commitment of the organization’s workforce, the assessment criteria helps pave the way for benefits such as cost savings through process excellence and benchmarked service standards.
