Mountain Hawk Express and Hayleys Advantis in strategic alliance

Mountain Hawk Express licensee of Federal Express Corporation, yesterday announced a strategic alliance with Hayleys Advantis. As a result of this alliance with Hayleys Advantis, Mountain Hawk Express is geared to take control as the country’s leader in air express courier service to over 220 countries worldwide. This alliance aims at offering customers value addition through integrated logistics solutions such as warehousing, sea transportation, along with the air express services offered currently.
Commenting on this occasion Hamdi Osman, Regional Vice President, FedEx Express for the MEIA Region said, Sri Lankan exporters can benefit from integrated logistics solutions from Hayleys Advantis, deep knowledge of the market from Mountain Hawk Express and connectivity to the global air and ground network of FedEx Express.
Hayleys Advantis and Mountain Hawk Express are thus creating a ONE STOP SOLUTION for customers here. I congratulate both the companies on this strategic alliance.
This new strategic alliance will enhance the transportation portfolio of Hayleys, and create new synergies. It will also provide for the rationalization of airport services through integrated operations with the Hayleys zonal operations within free trade zones thus enabling Mountain Hawk Express, Licensee of Federal Express Corporation to make later pickups and earlier deliveries to customers in these zones.
