Textainer Equipment Management Depot of the Year (2006, 2000) The container depot was selected as the best depot in the region (South Africa, Dubai, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka) by Textainer of USA
National Award for Export Excellence (2003)
Winner of Sri Lanka National Quality Award (2001) We operate the first and only container depot in Sri Lanka to win the Sri Lanka National Quality Award in the year 2001. We base our quality system on the Malcolm Baldrige Criteria (a system developed in the USA) ensuring quality service at all times.
ISO 9001:2000 Certification Our container depot was also the first to achieve ISO 9002 Quality Management System Certification in 1999 and several Group divisions are presently ISO 9001: 2000 accredited.
National HRM Award (2002 & 2003) One of our divisions emerged winners of the Sri Lanka National HRM Award in the medium scale service sector in 2002. Yet another division was adjudged runners-up in the same category for the year 2003.

Membership of American Bureau Shipping (2006) Mr. Mohan Pandithage, Deputy Chairman of the Hayleys Group, was elected a member of the leading ship classification society American Bureau of Shipping, which contributes to the creation of a safe and environmentally friendly world.
